What do you have to pay attention to when building a snowboard?
The most important part for a beginner is the length. You shold look that the snowboard, when put vertically, reaches to your chin. If you have a longer you, it will provide you with more stability. If you have a shorter it provides easier rotations. If you are seeking a snowboard for your child, you need to have in mind that kids are growing fast. So our advice is to buy slightly bigger one and save some money over years. When looking the snowboard from the side angle (from a position that the snowboard is as thin as possible), beginners love rocker type of snowboards, which allows them easier turning and spinning on the grounds.
Advanced users
If you are more of an advanced rider, you can start considering the softness/hardness of your board. Usually, freestyle snowboards are made out of more soft materials, which enables a user better leverage for twisting and popping a snowboard. Contrary, the freeride boards are made out of more hard materials for better speed control and powder joys. As beginner love rockers, advanced users might prefer camber, flat or a mixed board.
